What Are The Benefits?
benefits main image
  • Heart Health
Sauna bathing is a safe exercise, even for people with stable heart disease, when used appropriately [i]. Sauna use has been linked to a reduction in blood pressure and improved cardiovascular function by improving arterial stiffness and opening up blood vessels to improve circulation.
  • Mental Wellbeing
Regular sauna use has a positive impact on mental well-being. Overall, it’s associated with improving depression symptoms, lowering anxiety, and improving appetiteΒ [ii].
  • Chronic Fatigue and Pain
For some people, saunas can offer a drug-free alternative to controlling chronic pain. For example, saunas can help improve symptoms of arthritis by improving circulation, reducing inflammation, and lowering pain [iii].
  • Respiratory Disease
The heat from a sauna can relieve some of the symptoms of typical respiratory complaints by lowering lung inflammation and improving airway function. Emerging research suggests that frequent sauna use may lower the risk of developing chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)[iv].
  • Dementia & Alzheimer's
Sauna bathing is associated with a lower risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. In a 20-year-long study involving men aged 42 to 60 at the start, using a sauna 4 to 7 times a week had a 66% lower chance of developing dementia and 65% lower risk of Alzheimer’s disease[v].

Frequently asked questions

Yes, the Kaar comes with the Harvia KIP 60 electric heater and stones.

The Pesa is designed for 2-3 people.

Lighting is not included as standard with our saunas. However, many customers choose to add their own exterior or interior lighting to enhance the atmosphere. Our designs allow for safe, easy integration of low-voltage or LED lighting if you wish to install this after delivery.

Most of our saunas can be powered from aΒ single-phase 230 V supply, which is standard in UK homes but the required amperage depends on the heater size:

  • 6 kW heater – typically runs on aΒ 32 A supply
  • 8 kW heater – requires aΒ 40 A supplyΒ (or three-phase if available)

You will need to appoint a qualified electrician who can confirm suitability based on your property’s existing setup and circuit capacity.

No - all electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician who can test, certify, and connect your sauna to comply with UK Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

Cable sizing, breaker rating, and isolation requirements vary depending on the installation method, cable run length, and location.

Installation typically takes 1–2 days, depending on the sauna model and site accessibility. Before your delivery, we’ll agree a convenient date and time for installation and confirm all details to ensure a smooth, hassle-free process.

Your sauna will need to be installed on a solid, level, and well-drained base. The surface must be capable of supporting the sauna’s full weight (see individual product specs).

Our Professional Installation Service includes delivery of your sauna to site and full assembly by our experienced two-person team. We’ll position the sauna in your desired location, assemble the structure, and ensure it’s fully secure and ready for use.

Please note that electrical connection, wiring, and heater installation areΒ not includedΒ in our service. These must be completed by aΒ qualified electrician.
